Children Programme (7-14 years)
To become… great riders!
During the whole of 2012
This one week programme is perfect for children who want to learn riding having fun.
The programme is divided into 18 hours which consist of: 5 lessons of 1 hour, theoretical lessons on horse’s behaviour, hippology and horse’s anatomy, a little walk and final pony games.
Saturday: arrival at the hotel and accommodation.
Sunday: At 9 o’clock, meet your teacher and the horses at the stables. Then, after brushing, rubbing down and saddling your horse, reach the ring to have your first lesson.
At the end of the riding class, tide the stable up and take care of your horse.
Around 12 go back to the hotel for lunch.
Monday: At 9 o’clock, meeting at the stables for brushing, rubbing down and saddling your horse. Then, watch a short movie on hippology: horse races and different paces. After watching the video, take your second class.
At the end of the riding class, tide the stable up and take care of your horse.
Around 12 go back to the hotel for lunch.
Tuesday: At 9 o’clock, meeting at the stables for brushing, rubbing down and saddling your horse, then go the the ring for your third lesson which will focus on trot.
At the end of the riding class, tide the stable up and take care of your horse.
Around 12 go back to the hotel for lunch.
Wednesday: At 9 o’clock, meeting at the stables for brushing, rubbing down and saddling your horse, then go the the ring for your forth lesson. The best riders will take a short walk on the wood of the Resort in order to learn how to ride on the outside.
At the end of the riding class, tide the stable up and take care of your horse.
Around 12 go back to the hotel for lunch.
Thursday: At 9 o’clock, meeting at the stables for brushing, rubbing down and saddling your horse. Today you will have a funny class: “Learning horse’s anatomy by painting” (pencils and papers are provided by the riding centre). Then, reach the ring for the fifth riding lesson!
At the end of the riding class, tide the stable up and take care of your horse.
Around 12 go back to the hotel for lunch.
Friday: Pony games: children will be divided into 2 teams who will challenge themselves. Final prizes for everyone!
At the end of the games, a farewell drink will be offered to all the competitors… To thank the riders and the horses.
