La Castagneta restaurant at Antico Casale offers traditional cuisine from Tuscany and the Maremma, with dishes prepared by our chef using organic, locally-produced ingredients. Maremma cuisine is chiefly characterised by its simple, frugal origins: a direct and continuing bond with the land and the sea has given rise to a style of cooking that's unique, flavourful and genuine.

La Castagneta Restaurant

At La Castagneta, creativity and a love of the past combine at every stage of preparation, from the sourcing of seasonal ingredients to their processing, right up to plating and serving. Every dish is accompanied by an expert pairing with local DOCG wines – including, naturally, the multi-award-winning Morellino di Scansano – and presented in the informal atmosphere of a private indoor dining room with fireplace or on the veranda, with romantic views over the Scansano countryside and the gentle hills of Maremma.
The restaurant is open to the public for lunch and dinner.
